I'm ready for a vacation. I NEED a vacation, yet I'm sooooooo not ready.
We leave for Florida in two weeks and three days. 6 in my family and 5 in my sisters. It will be crazy, but so much fun. We're doing Disney for four days and then heading to my parents for the next week.
Problem one: I haven't started to get anything ready yet. I'm sure nothing will fit the kids from last summer, with my luck. And I've lost 14 pounds so far, hopefully a few more by then. So I need to shop for myself. But who has time???
Problem two: My agent is headed to NY in one week to follow up on my books and to pitch my new four book series. She comes back on the eighth and I leave for Florida on the fourteenth. What if they want the first book right away, or at the very least a partial? I've only written one scene!!!!! I know she's just running the idea by them to see if they would be interested and if something like that will fly. But like they say, strike while the iron's hot. If they love the idea, well, I don't want them to forget about me.
Problem three: I have to stop playing with my website. I loved the coffee theme but it really didn't represent what I write, so I went for something more colorful. And Barb Witek is a genius with creating logos. She did my logo at the top and I added perfume bottles on every page to stay with the theme of a dose of laughter.
If you have a chance, check out the new design and let me know what you think. The link is on my sidebar.
So much stress, but it's a good kind of stress, really ;-)
Don't know how you guys keep up with the blogging, but I'm so glad you do. Reading all of yours keeps me on track and sane.
