I'm Home. Yippee!!!

Well, I made it home in one piece.

We had a great time. The weather was a bit cool, but it never rained. It felt so good just to sit by the pool and hang out. We played games, had a lot of laughs and some great family time. Now, back to reality.

Oh, and I went to see Happy Feet with my 3 little ones and my mother, while my husband went to see Casino Royale with my oldest and my father.

Oh, yeah. They got the better end of the deal, folks.

My mother struggled not to fall asleep, my two boys fidgeted in their seats, and my daughter kept sitting forward, then back, then forward, then back, then staring at, well, everyone. And I would say "shhhh" and she would say (in a really loud stage whisper) "I AM being quiet".

Let me tell you, my feet weren't happy.

In fact, nothing on me was happy. And the movie was only okay. Mostly singing and tapping those feet, not a whole lot else going on. Meanwhile, in the really "happy" part of the theater, my husband and father said Casino Royale was awesome. Probably the best Bond yet.

Oh, well, I got happy later that day with Happy Hour!!!

My aunts are a hoot. I brainstormed a new book idea with one of my aunts and my mother, while the other aunt read my second book while I was there and said it was really funny. Then again, it could have been the "happy" wine that made her so happy, and not my book. She's crossing everything on her;))

And on another happy note. I'm mailing several fulls of both my books to my agent today!! And she will package them up and send them out by the end of the week. Yippee!! Now that's happiness. And if she gets an editor to buy at least one of them, if not both, well, then forget happy. I'll be freaking ecstatic!!!!!

After today, I'll finally be able to get caught up with blogging, critiqueing, starting a new book and writing schedule, and well, hello!! Christmas!!! Can't procrastinate on that one or I'll really get into trouble. As it is, I'm the only one in my neighborhood who still has her halloween decorations out. Guess I should take them down today and put out the christmas ones. Ya think;)))

Have a good one, folks!!!

Yay for the fulls, my friend! You'll be getting that two-book deal right off the bat and you don't even need to worry about writing the second one!

K is reading mine, hopefully as I write this... she's my No. 1 right now--could she be reading this?!?! Hmmmm....!

I did not enjoy Happy Feet all that much. It went on far too long.

Glad you're back. Wishing good thoughts for you and the novels!
